English Translation
Dawud ibn Mihran al-Dabbagh narrated to us, Dawud, meaning al-Attar, narrated to us, from Ibn Khuthaym, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Asma' bint Yazid, that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever drinks wine, Allah will not be pleased with him for forty nights. If he dies, he dies as a disbeliever. If he repents, Allah will accept his repentance. And if he returns to it, it will be a right upon Allah to give him to drink from the mud of khabal (pus of the people of Hellfire)." She said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the mud of khabal?" He said: "The pus of the people of the Fire."
