حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ أَبِي وَقُرِئَ عَلَى سُفْيَانَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ بِنْتِ يَزِيدَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ عَنْ أَسْمَاءَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَجْمَعْنَ جُوعًا وَكَذِبًا.
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us. My father said: And it was read to Sufyan. I heard Ibn Abi Husayn, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Asma' bint Yazid. Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Husayn, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from Asma', that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not combine hunger and lying."
