English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us: Abd al-Hamid narrated to us: Sa'id ibn Abi Sa'id al-Maqburi informed me, from Abu Shurayh al-Adawi of Khuza'ah - who was one of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them - from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said, "Hospitality is three days, and one's special provision is a day and a night; and it is not lawful for anyone to stay with his brother until he makes him sin." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, how does he make him sin?" He said, "By staying with him without him finding anything to provide for him."
