English Translation
Abd Allah said: I found in my father's book: Sa'id b. Sulayman told us: Musa b. Khalaf told us: Asim b. Bahdalah told us, from Abu Salih, from Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib, who said: The Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) once passed by me, and I said, 'O Messenger of God, I have grown old and weak' — or as she said — 'so command me some deed I can do while sitting.' He said, 'Glorify God a hundred times with Subhan Allah, for it is equivalent for you to a hundred slaves that you free from the descendants of Isma'il; and praise God a hundred times with Alhamdulillah, equivalent for you to a hundred saddled and bridled horses that you offer in the way of God; and magnify God a hundred times with Allahu Akbar, for it is equivalent for you to a hundred sacrificial camels, garlanded and accepted; and declare God's oneness a hundred times with La ilaha illallah' — Ibn Khalaf said, I think he said — 'it fills what is between heaven and earth, and on that day no deed is raised up for anyone unless he brings the like of what you have brought.'
