English Translation
Bahz told us: Hammad b. Salamah told us: Simak b. Harb told us, from Harun, son of the daughter of Umm Hani' or son of Umm Hani', from Umm Hani', that the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him) drank a drink and handed it to her to drink. She said, 'I am fasting, but I disliked to refuse what remained from your drink.' He said — meaning — 'If it is making up a missed day of Ramadan, then make up a day in its place; and if it is voluntary, then if you wish, make it up, and if you wish, do not make it up.'
