حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ كَانَ قِيَامُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ قَدْرَ مَا يَقْرَأُ فَاتِحَةَ الْكِتَابَ.
English Translation
Aisha reported: The standing of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in the two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer was about as long as it takes to recite the Opening of the Book (al-Fatihah).
