حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي بِاللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا مُعْتَرِضَةٌ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَإِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يُوتِرَ أَيْقَظَنِي فَأَوْتَرْتُ.
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us: Hisham narrated to us, from his father, from Aisha, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to pray at night while I lay crosswise between him and the qiblah; when he wanted to pray the witr, he would wake me, and I would pray the witr.
