حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ اخْتَصَمَ سَعْدُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ وَعَبْدُ بْنُ زَمْعَةَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ وَقَالَ فَهُوَ لَكَ يَا عَبْدُ بْنَ زَمْعَةَ الْوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الْحَجَرُ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Jurayj informed us, he said: Ibn Shihab informed me, from Urwah, from Aisha, who said: Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas and Abd ibn Zam'ah disputed - and he mentioned the hadith - and he (the Prophet) said, "He is yours, O Abd ibn Zam'ah. The child belongs to the marriage-bed, and for the adulterer is stoning (deprivation)."
