حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ أَبُو مُوسَى مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ.
English Translation
Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar told us, from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Aishah, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, heard the voice of Abu Musa al-Ash'ari reciting, and said: "Abu Musa has been given some of the melodious voice of the family of David."
