English Translation
Abu al-Nadr narrated to us: Abu Mu'awiyah -- that is, Shayban -- narrated to us, from Layth, from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Siddiq, from Aisha, that she said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Kill all snakes, except the short-tailed one and the one with two stripes on its back, for these two kill the unborn child in his mother's womb and blind the eyes; whoever leaves them alone is not of us.
