English Translation
Waki' narrated to us: al-Qasim ibn al-Fadl narrated to us: Thumamah ibn Hazn narrated to me, who said: "I asked A'ishah about nabidh, and she said: 'This is the servant of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him; ask her' - the slave-girl being an Abyssinian. She said: 'I used to prepare nabidh for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in a waterskin in the evening, and tie it up, and when morning came he would drink from it.'"
