English Translation
Quraysh ibn Ibrahim told us: al-Mu'tamir ibn Sulayman told us, from Shabib ibn Abd al-Malik al-Taymi, from Muqatil ibn Hayyan, from his paternal aunt Amra, from Aisha, who said: We used to prepare nabidh for the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in the morning in a water-skin, without covering it or letting it develop dregs. When evening came, he would have his evening meal and drink with it; if any remained, I would empty it out or pour it away, then we would wash the water-skin and prepare fresh nabidh in it for the evening. When morning came, he would have his morning meal and drink with it; if any remained, I would pour it out or empty it, then wash the water-skin. It was said to him: 'Does this mean the water-skin was washed twice?' He said: 'Twice.'
