حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ عَنْ أَبِي عَوَانَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ.
English Translation
Affan told us, from Abu Awana, who said: Umar ibn Abi Salama told us, from his father, from Aisha, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: 'The right of inheritance from a freed slave (al-wala') belongs to the one who freed him.'
