حَدَّثَنَا يَعْمَرُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنْ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ خَرَجْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ فَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ وَمِنَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ فَأَهْدَى فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَهَلَّ بِالْعُمْرَةِ وَلَمْ يُهْدِ فَلْيَحِلَّ وَمَنْ أَهَلَّ فَأَهْدَى فَلَا يَحِلَّ وَمَنْ أَهَلَّ بِحَجٍّ فَلْيُتِمَّ حَجَّهُ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ وَكُنْتُ مِمَّنْ أَهَلَّ بِعُمْرَةٍ.
English Translation
Ya'mar ibn Bishr told us: Abdullah told us: Yunus informed us, from Ibn Shihab, from Urwah, from A'ishah, who said: "We went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) on the Farewell Pilgrimage. Some of us entered the state of consecration for Hajj, and some of us for Umrah and brought a sacrificial animal. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Whoever entered consecration for Umrah and did not bring a sacrificial animal, let him exit it; and whoever entered consecration and brought a sacrificial animal, let him not exit it; and whoever entered consecration for Hajj, let him complete his Hajj.'" A'ishah said: "And I was among those who entered consecration for Umrah."
