حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْوَلَاءُ لِمَنْ أَعْتَقَ.
English Translation
Yahya ibn Ishaq told us: Abu Awanah informed us, from Umar ibn Abi Salamah, from his father, from A'ishah, who said: the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "The right of inheritance by manumission belongs to the one who freed the slave."
