English Translation
Muhammad ibn Abdullah told us: Ayman ibn Nabil told us, from Umm Kulthum, from A'isha, who said: Whenever it was said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that so-and-so was sick and could not eat food, he would say: "You must give him talbinah (barley gruel) and let him sip it, for by the One in whose hand is my soul, it cleanses the stomach of one of you just as one of you washes his face with water to remove dirt."
