حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْعَاصِ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ يَعْنِي أَبَاهُ قَالَ اعْتَمَرَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فَدَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ فَأَرْسَلَ إِلَى ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَجَلَسَ يَنْتَظِرُهُ حَتَّى جَاءَهُ فَقَالَ أَيْنَ صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ دَخَلَ الْبَيْتَ قَالَ مَا كُنْتُ مَعَهُ وَلَكِنِّي دَخَلْتُ بَعْدَ أَنْ أَرَادَ الْخُرُوجَ فَلَقِيتُ بِلَالًا فَسَأَلْتُهُ أَيْنَ صَلَّى فَأَخْبَرَنِي أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بَيْنَ الْأُسْطُوَانَتَيْنِ فَقَامَ مُعَاوِيَةُ فَصَلَّى بَيْنَهُمَا.
English Translation
Hashim bin al-Qasim narrated to us: Ishaq bin Sa'id bin Amr bin Sa'id bin al-As narrated to us, from Sa'id, that is his father, who said: Mu'awiyah performed Umrah and entered the House, and sent for Ibn Umar, and sat waiting for him until he came, and said: Where did the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, pray on the day he entered the House? He said: I was not with him, but I entered after he had intended to leave, and I met Bilal and asked him where he had prayed; he informed me that he had prayed between the two pillars. So Mu'awiyah stood and prayed between them.
