حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا بِالْمَدِينَةِ وَقَدْ طَافَ النَّاسُ بِهِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِذَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَسَمِعْتُهُ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ إِنَّ مِنْ بَعْدِكُمْ الْكَذَّابَ الْمُضِلَّ وَإِنَّ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ حُبُكٌ حُبُكٌ حُبُكٌ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَإِنَّهُ سَيَقُولُ أَنَا رَبُّكُمْ فَمَنْ قَالَ لَسْتَ رَبَّنَا لَكِنَّ رَبَّنَا اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَإِلَيْهِ أَنَبْنَا نَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّكَ لَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ عَلَيْهِ سُلْطَانٌ.
English Translation
Sulayman ibn Harb told us: Hammad ibn Zayd told us, from Ayyub, from Abu Qilaba, who said: I saw a man in Madina around whom people had gathered, and he was saying, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said... the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said..." and there was a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. He said: I heard him say: After you there will be the great liar who leads astray, and his head after him will be waves upon waves upon waves - three times - and he will say, "I am your lord." Whoever says, "You are not our lord; rather our Lord is Allah, upon Him we rely and to Him we turn in repentance; we seek refuge in Allah from your evil," he will have no power over him.
