English Translation
Waki' told us, from Sufyan, from Alqamah ibn Marthad, from Sulayman ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever plays nardashir (a form of backgammon) is as though he has dipped his hand into the flesh and blood of a pig. Waki' did not once trace this back to the Prophet with a full chain.
