English Translation
Muhammad ibn Fudayl narrated to us: Dawud ibn Abi Hind informed us, from Shahr ibn Hawshab, from 'Abd al-Rahman ibn Ghanm, from Abu Malik al-Ash'ari, that he said to his people: 'Stand up and pray, so that I may pray for you the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him.' He said: So they lined up behind him, and he said the takbir, then recited, then said the takbir, then bowed, then raised his head and said the takbir — and he did that throughout his entire prayer.
