حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ قَالَ كَتَبَ إِلَيَّ يَحْيَى بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَا تَقُومُوا حَتَّى تَرَوْنِي يَعْنِي لِلصَّلَاةِ.
English Translation
Abu Qatan narrated to us, Hisham narrated to us. He said: Yahya ibn 'Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah wrote to me, from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not stand up until you see me" - meaning for the prayer.
