English Translation
Hammad ibn Khalid al-Khayyat narrated to us, Malik narrated to us, from Ishaq ibn Abi Talhah, from Hamidah, from Kabshah, who said: I saw Abu Qatadah tilt the vessel for a cat to drink from it. He said: 'Are you surprised? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told us that it is not impure. It is one of those that go around among you (male and female).'
