حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْخِمَارِ.
English Translation
Muhammad ibn Mus'ab narrated to us, al-Awza'i narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah, from Ja'far ibn 'Amr ibn Umayyah al-Damri, from his father, who said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wiping over his leather socks and his head covering.
