حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ الْيَمَانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ الضَّمْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ وَالْعِمَامَةِ.
English Translation
Abu al-Mughirah narrated to us, 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Amr al-Awza'i narrated to us, Yahya ibn Abi Kathir al-Yamani narrated to me, from Abu Salamah, from Ja'far ibn 'Amr ibn Umayyah al-Damri, from his father, that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wipe over his leather socks and turban.
