English Translation

Waki' told us, Hisham ibn Urwah told us, from his father, who said: I was sitting with Usamah when he was asked about the pace of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he moved off from Arafah, and he said: He used to go at a steady trot, and when he found an open space he would go faster - meaning faster than the steady trot.
