English Translation

Yahya told us, from Sufyan, Ibrahim ibn Uqbah told me, from Kurayb, from Usamah ibn Zayd, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he moved off, or moved on, from Arafah, came to the pass which the commanders and caliphs customarily use, and he urinated. I brought him water, and he performed a good, moderate ablution between the light and thorough kind, then mounted his mount. I said: The prayer, O Prophet of Allah! He said: The prayer is ahead of you. He said: Then he came to Jam' and had the call to prayer made, and prayed the sunset prayer, and the rest of the people did not untie their loads until he had the call made again and prayed the night prayer. Abd al-Razzaq told us, Ma'mar and al-Thawri told us, from Ibrahim ibn Uqbah, from Kurayb, from Usamah, who said: We went out with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, from Arafah, and when he reached - Ma'mar said the mountain pass and al-Thawri said the pass - and he mentioned its meaning.
