قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُصْعَبٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَالِمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَخَّصَ فِي بَيْعِ الْعَرَايَا أَنْ تُبَاعَ بِخَرْصِهَا وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ فِي غَيْرِ ذَلِكَ.
English Translation
[It is said]: Muhammad ibn Mus'ab told us: al-Awza'i told us, from al-Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, from Zayd ibn Thabit, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, gave a concession regarding the sale of the 'araya, that they be sold by estimation, and gave no concession in anything else.
