حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِي الطَّرِيقِ فَاجْعَلُوهُ سَبْعَ أَذْرُعٍ وَمَنْ بَنَى بِنَاءً فَلْيَدْعَمْهُ حَائِطَ جَارِهِ.
English Translation
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: 'If you disagree about the width of the road, make it seven cubits. And whoever builds a structure, let him support his neighbor's wall.'
