Arabic (Original)
وَقَالَ لَوْلَا الْهِجْرَةُ لَكُنْتُ امْرَأً مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ وَلَوْ سَلَكَ الْأَنْصَارُ وَادِيًا أَوْ قَالَ شِعْبًا لَكُنْتُ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ.
English Translation
And he said: "Were it not for the migration (hijrah), I would have been a man of the Ansar; and were the Ansar to travel through a valley" -- or he said "a mountain pass" -- "I would be one of the Ansar."
