حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو يَحْيَى مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ الْبَزَّازُ حَدَّثَنَا قَبِيصَةُ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي الْعَالِيَةِ عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَشِّرْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ بِالسَّنَاءِ وَالتَّمْكِينِ فِي الْبِلَادِ وَالنَّصْرِ وَالرِّفْعَةِ فِي الدِّينِ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ مِنْهُمْ بِعَمَلِ الْآخِرَةِ لِلدُّنْيَا فَلَيْسَ لَهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ نَصِيبٌ.
English Translation
Abu Yahya Muhammad ibn Abdur-Rahim al-Bazzaz told me, Qabisah told us, Sufyan told us, from Ayyub, from Abu al-Aliyah, from Ubayy ibn Ka'b, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Give this nation glad tidings of eminence and establishment in the lands, victory, and elevation in religion. Whoever among them acts with the deeds of the Hereafter for the sake of this world will have no share in the Hereafter."
