حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنِ الْأَشْعَثِ بْنِ ثُرْمُلَةَ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ قَتَلَ نَفْسًا مُعَاهَدَةً بِغَيْرِ حِلِّهَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ الْجَنَّةَ أَنْ يَجِدَ رِيحَهَا.
English Translation
Waki' narrated to us: Sufyan narrated to us, from Yunus b. 'Ubayd, from al-Hakam b. al-A'raj, from al-Ash'ath b. Thurmula, from Abu Bakra, who said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever kills a soul under covenant without right, God has forbidden Paradise to him, that he should find its scent."
