حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَرُ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَأْوِي لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّا يُجَافِي بِيَدَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبَّادُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ حَدَّثَنِي أَحْمَرُ صَاحِبُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ كُنَّا لَيَأْوِي لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِمَّا يُجَافِي بِيَدَيْهِ عَنْ جَنْبَيْهِ إِذَا سَجَدَ.
English Translation
Waki' told us: Abbad ibn Rashid told us, from al-Hasan: Ahmar, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), told us, who said: "We used to feel pity for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) because of how he would hold his arms away from his sides when prostrating." Affan told us: Abbad ibn Rashid told us: al-Hasan told us: Ahmar, a Companion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), told me, who said: "We used to feel pity for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) because of how he would hold his arms away from his sides when prostrating."
