English Translation
Abd al-Rahman told us: Abbad ibn Rashid told us, who said: I heard al-Hasan say: A man from Banu Salit told me that he passed by the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was sitting at the door of the mosque, wearing a coarse garment with nothing else on him, wrapped in it, and he was saying: "The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim; he does not wrong him nor abandon him. Piety is here" - and he pointed with his hand to his chest.
