Bahz told us, Hammam told us, who said: Qatadah was asked about the even and the odd, and he said: Imran ibn Isam ad-Duba'i told us, from an elder among the people of Basra, from Imran ibn Husayn, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "It is the prayer; some of it is even and some of it is odd."
