حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً مِنْ الْمُسْلِمِينَ أَسَرَهَا الْعَدُوُّ وَقَدْ كَانُوا أَصَابُوا قَبْلَ ذَلِكَ نَاقَةً لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَرَأَتْ مِنْ الْقَوْمِ غَفْلَةً قَالَ فَرَكِبَتْ نَاقَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ثُمَّ جَعَلَتْ عَلَيْهَا أَنْ تَنْحَرَهَا قَالَ فَقَدِمَتْ الْمَدِينَةَ فَأَرَادَتْ أَنْ تَنْحَرَ نَاقَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَمُنِعَتْ مِنْ ذَلِكَ فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ بِئْسَمَا جَزَيْتِيهَا قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ لَا نَذْرَ لِابْنِ آدَمَ فِيمَا لَا يَمْلِكُ وَلَا فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى.
English Translation
Hushaym narrated to us, Mansur informed us, from al-Hasan, from Imran ibn Husayn, that a Muslim woman was captured by the enemy. They had previously taken a she-camel belonging to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). She saw them become heedless, so she mounted the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and she vowed to slaughter it. When she arrived in Madinah, she wanted to slaughter the she-camel of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), but was prevented. This was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), who said: 'What a terrible way to repay it!' Then he said: 'There is no valid vow for a son of Adam in what he does not own, nor in disobedience to Allah, Blessed and Exalted.'
