حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَن عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَن سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ عَن أَبِي مُوسَى عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أُحِلَّ لُبْسُ الْحَرِيرِ وَالذَّهَبِ لِنِسَاءِ أُمَّتِي وَحُرِّمَ عَلَى ذُكُورِهَا.
English Translation
Yahya b. Sa'id told us, from Ubaydullah: Nafi' informed me, from Sa'id b. Abi Hind, from Abu Musa, from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "The wearing of silk and gold has been made permissible for the women of my nation, and forbidden for its men."
