English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, from al-Mas'udi, and Yazid said: al-Mas'udi informed us, from Amr b. Murra, from Abu Ubayda, from Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, named himself to us with names, some of which we remembered, and he said: "I am Muhammad, and Ahmad, and al-Muqaffi, and al-Hashir, and the Prophet of Mercy." Yazid said: "and the Prophet of Repentance, and the Prophet of Battle."
