حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الْعَيْزَارَ بْنَ حُرَيْثٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ الْأَزْدِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ.
English Translation
Affan narrated to us: Shu’bah narrated to us: Abu Ishaq informed us, who said: I heard al-Ayzar ibn Hurayth narrating from Urwah ibn Abi al-Ja’d al-Azdi, that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Horses have goodness tied in their forelocks."
