حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ أَخْبَرَنَا الْبَارِقِيُّ شَبِيبٌ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُرْوَةَ الْبَارِقِيَّ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ الْخَيْلُ مَعْقُودٌ فِي نَوَاصِيهَا الْخَيْرُ وَرَأَيْتُ فِي دَارِهِ سَبْعِينَ فَرَسًا.
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us: al-Bariqi Shabib informed us, that he heard Urwah al-Bariqi say: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say: "Horses have goodness tied in their forelocks." And I saw seventy horses in his house.
