حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ بْنَ وَائِلٍ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُتِيَ بِدَلْوٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَشَرِبَ مِنْهُ ثُمَّ مَجَّ.
English Translation
Waki' told us: Mis'ar told us, he said: I heard Abd al-Jabbar ibn Wa'il mention, from his father, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was brought a bucket of water; he drank from it, then rinsed his mouth and spat.
