English Translation
Affan told us: Abu Awana told us, from Ibrahim b. Muhammad b. al-Muntashir, from his father, from Habib b. Salim, from al-Nu'man b. Bashir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite on the two Eids and on Friday "Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High" and "Has there come to you the story of the overwhelming event," and sometimes they would coincide on one day, so he would recite both. Abu Awana said: and sometimes two Eids would coincide on one day.
