English Translation
Isma'il narrated to us: Yunus narrated to us, from Humayd ibn Hilal, from Abu Burdah, from a man among the Companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: O people, repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness, for I repent to Allah and seek His forgiveness a hundred times every day. I said to him: O Allah, I seek Your forgiveness; O Allah, I repent to You - is that two phrases or one? He said: It is that, or something like that.
