English Translation

It was narrated to us by Yazid ibn Abd Rabbihi, who said: it was narrated to us by al-Walid ibn Muslim, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Hassan al-Kinani, that al-Harith ibn Muslim ibn al-Harith al-Tamimi narrated to him, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "When you have prayed the dawn prayer, say, before speaking to anyone at all: 'O Allah, protect me from the Fire' - seven times - for if you die on that day, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will record for you protection from the Fire. And when you have prayed the sunset prayer, say, before speaking to anyone at all: 'O Allah, I ask You for Paradise; O Allah, protect me from the Fire' - seven times - for if you die on that night, Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, will record for you protection from the Fire."
