English Translation
Yahya ibn Sa'id told us, from Ibn Jurayj, he said: Ata' informed me, he said: Safwan ibn Ya'la ibn Umayyah informed me, from his father, who said: My hired worker fought a man and bit his hand. He pulled his hand from the man's mouth, knocking out his front tooth. He came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who declared it void, and said, "Should he leave his hand in your mouth for you to gnaw on it as a stallion gnaws?"
