English Translation
Hajjaj narrated to us, Layth told us, Yazid ibn Abi Habib told me, from Abu al-Khayr, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, that he said: We said to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "You send us out, and we come to stay with a people who do not offer us hospitality; what do you think about that?" The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to us, "If you stay with a people and they provide you what is fitting for a guest, accept it; but if they do not, then take from them the right of the guest that is fitting for them."
