English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Bakr ibn Sawadah narrated to us, from Abu Sa'id Ju'thul al-Qitbani, from Abu Tamim al-Jayshani, from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir, that the sister of 'Uqbah made a vow concerning a son of hers, that she would perform the pilgrimage barefoot without a headscarf. This reached the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, "Let her make the pilgrimage riding, veiled, and let her fast."
