English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us from 'Amr from Ibn Munabbih from his brother from Mu'awiya: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say: 'Do not press insistently in asking, for by Allah, no one asks me for something and has it granted to him, but he is blessed in it.'
