حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ قَالَ حَفِظْنَا عَنْ ثَلَاثِينَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ أَعْتَقَ شِقْصًا لَهُ فِي مَمْلُوكٍ ضَمِنَ بَقِيَّتَهُ.
English Translation
Yazid ibn Harun told us: Hajjaj ibn Artat told us, from Amr ibn Shu'ayb, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, who said: We have preserved from thirty of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, that he said: "Whoever frees his share in a slave is liable for the rest of him."
