قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ وَعَفَّانُ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ الْبُنَانِيُّ وَقَالَ يُونُسُ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ عَفَّانُ يَخْطُبُنَا وَقَالَ يُونُسُ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ لَبِسَ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا لَمْ يَلْبَسْهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ.
English Translation
He said: Yunus and Affan told us, they said: Hammad ibn Zayd told us — Affan said in his narration: Thabit al-Bunani told us, while Yunus said: from Thabit — who said: I heard Ibn az-Zubayr — Affan said: "delivering a sermon to us," while Yunus said: "while he was delivering a sermon" — saying: Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever wears silk in this world will not wear it in the Hereafter."
