English Translation
Affan told us, Shu'bah told us: al-Aswad ibn Qays informed me, from Nubayh al-Anazi, from Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When one of you comes home at night, let him not come upon his family unannounced at night."
